This vessel is a 29.98 metre single screw round bilge displacement mono hull of steel construction that is up for many different tasks. She has a beam of 5.70 metre and draws 2.40 metres. Originally constructed to JG survey for use as a training and research vessel for the Japanese and fishing industry. She has been exceptionally well maintained by both the previous and the current owners. Conversion in 2000 to suit the Australian Long Line Fishery has been carried out professionally and to a very high standard. The vessel has also been revised and upgraded to meet the latest requirements of "Severe Wind and Wave" and "Water On Deck" as assigned for vessel operating over 600nm from the Australian coast (open water unlimited area). She is powered by a single Yanmar 6 cylinder in line turbo M200ST producing 800hp at 900 rpm. She has 6 fuel tanks totalling 40,000 litres and steamed from Japan to the South West of Australia 'non stop'. Has 2 gensets, a Yanmar 6 cylinder 3 phase 60hz 80 KVA and a Yanmar 4 cylinder 60 hz.
