This vessel was launched in 2005, was built to cruise the world and is easily handled by two people. Steel construction with an African Teak deck, she is 66 feet over all and 52 feet along the deck with a 15 foot 4 inch beam. Sleeps eight and is extremely well equipped for extended cruising. Engine room houses a Perkins 6354 135hp, DNV hot water system and a Coleman 80 litre freezer and she also has a Diecon 10kw genset, Victron Energy inverter, 9 x 12volt Dolphin deep cycle batteries and a Reya Power Fist battery charger. Elctronics are comprehensive and include a Furuno Radar, C-Map, Raymarine VHF, Course Master auto pilot, Raymarine wind indicator, Course Master Hydrive hydraulic steering, Moonraker TV dome, 2 x Sharp solar panels and a Plasmatronic Solar Regulater. This vessel is a 29.98 metre single screw round bilge displacement mono hull of steel construction that is up for many different tasks. She has a beam of 5.70 metre and draws 2.40 metres. Originally constructed to JG survey for use as a training and research vessel for the Japanese and fishing industry. She has been exceptionally well maintained by both the previous and the current owners. Conversion in 2000 to suit the Australian Long Line Fishery has been carried out professionally and to a very high standard. The vessel has also been revised and upgraded to meet the latest requirements of "Severe Wind and Wave" and "Water On Deck" as assigned for vessel operating over 600nm from the Australian coast (open water unlimited area). She is powered by a single Yanmar 6 cylinder in line turbo M200ST producing 800hp at 900 rpm. Fuel capacity of 2400 litres, cruising speed of 8kn and a top speed of 10.5kn and she has her own desalinator.
She boasts 3phase shore power, 8 twin share cabins (+2 extra beds), 3 showers, 3 toilets, a large full commercial galley including a huge 3-door commercial fridge and 340 litre freezer, huge oven, commercial sized dishwasher, a 12000 litre water tank and a 400 litre electric hot water system. Entertainment is well catered for with a 200CD stacker and stereo and a 1200mm flat screen TV and DVD player.
The helm is fitted out with a 2007 Raymarine GPS/sounder/plotter, a 27meg HF/VHF radio, compass, 2 gensets and radar. She also has a 1 tonne crane on the aft deck for easy loading and carries 2 tenders (1x5.9m full biminied punt with a 2t payload capacity / 1x5.5m ali punt).
