Custom built self propelled aluminium work platform, constructed of 5068 H32, 5068 H1 16 and 5052 H32 grade marine alloy, floating on 3 fully boxed pontoons. The Vessel harvests aquatic weeds from the water by means of a hydraulically controled submersible conveyer and cutters. |

63' x 17' aluminium commercial multi purpose fishing vessel originally built for catching and holding tuna, (5 x large insulated below deck fish holds), she was converted into a fish trap vessel for extended northern Australian waters. The 5 holds are FDC cooled and hold 7,200kg of fish in fish tubs. Vessel has an ice maker and deck brine. Ship is powered by a 400hp Cummins main (new 2003) and has since done 3 seasons work. 50 kVA aux was new in 2003 and rebuilt in 2006. Vessel averages 35 ltrs/hour @ 10 kts giving approx 2,000/2,500 mile range. Accommodation and galley for a crew of up to 5; all fully airconditioned. All Furuno electronics incl Ocean Vision, sat phones, & weather fax. This vessel was sand blasted and fully repainted from the water line up in 2007 and is in a "turn key position and ready to go". She was built in 2000, is powered by a V12 MTU motor derated to 820hp producing 22/18 knots and averaging 30 ltrs/hour over a working season since the vessel was built.
